“After specializing for many years in floral watercolors, I began experimenting with oils. I studied plein air painting with several wonderful artists including George Strickland, and Skip Whitcomb. While painting outdoors was enjoyable, dealing with the elements was often difficult. I was fortunate to then study still life painting with Greg Kreutz and more recently John Morra. These talented artists helped me develop an appreciation and a passion for contemporary American realism.

I paint from life and enjoy creating colorful and sometimes whimsical arrangements of everyday objects.  My goal is to portray the beauty and charm that can be found in ordinary things.”
